   Our research is motivated by the need for efficient, economical, highly integrated, high-frequency (microwave, millimeter wave, and terahertz) components, devices, sensors, and systems. Our projects range in focus from the device level to the systems level. Most projects are multidisciplinary in nature and overlap with other fields such as Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, and Bio-engineering. The underlining theme is the use of electromagnetics, micro/nanofabrication, electronics packaging and materials to meet the need for next generation of high-frequency challenges.
