The 49th annual Midwest Theoretical Chemistry Conference (MWTCC) was held in East Lansing, MI, June 1-3, 2017. Jialin and his collabrator from the Chemistry Department, Ilias Magoulas, who is a graduate student in the group of Professor Piotr Piecuch, won one of the Journal of Physical Chemistry Best Student Poster Awards.
